What to Bring to Your Puerto Rico Photoshoot: The Full Checklist
Outfits, glam, hydration, backups - the exact checklist I share with every client before a shoot in Puerto Rico.

Puerto Rico is hot, humid and bright - and that changes how you prep for a shoot. Here is the exact checklist I send every client before we meet.
Outfits
- Bring 3 to 5 looks for a 2-hour session - we will likely use 3.
- Light fabrics with movement (chiffon, silk, linen) - they read incredible in the breeze.
- Avoid heavy denim and thick wool - they look hot and they ARE hot.
- Two swimsuits minimum for beach sessions - wet from one, dry for the other.
Glam
- Setting spray and matte primer - humidity is the enemy.
- Touch-up powder for the T-zone.
- Hair tie and a wide-tooth comb for between looks.
- Lip color in your bag - they fade fast in the heat.
Weather and timing
We shoot at golden hour to avoid the harsh midday sun. Rain showers are short and we reschedule at no cost. Always bring a small umbrella for shade between setups.
Hydration and snacks
Two bottles of water and something light to eat. The Caribbean sun is no joke, even at 7 AM.
What NOT to bring
- Brand-new shoes - blisters ruin posing fast.
- Tan lines from the day before - they will show.
- Too many accessories - one statement piece beats five small ones on camera.
Pack like the shoot is the event. Because, for the next two hours, it is.
