Frequently asked questions
What is the best time to shoot at El Escambrón?
Sunrise. The water is clearer, the beach is almost empty and the light is soft. Sunset also works but it is busier.
Is there parking?
Yes, there is paid parking next to the beach and street spots near the Tercer Milenio park.
Do I need a permit?
For a personal session without heavy gear you do not. For brand productions it is better to arrange a permit ahead of time.
Can we go in the water?
Yes, and I recommend it. It is one of the calmest beaches in San Juan and in water photos look incredible.
